The Inspiration Academy is a new-build 360 place coeducational school for students ages 11-14 years. The school is the first facility of its kind in the UK; conceived as an intermediary school for the neighbouring Leigh University Technical College which provides vocational training, the building of which was completed in 2014 by J+W. Together the works will represent a complete secondary school, sharing facilities across the site in a campus arrangement. The building was approved for planning permission under delegated powers.

I assisted in the design of the building as part of a team of three throughout a 6 week Client Engagement Process. I then produced the drawings for the planning application and public consultation.
